What is Cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual asset that uses cryptography to secure its transactions and control the creation of new units of the currency.

Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, meaning they are not subject to government or financial institution control. Bitcoin, the first and most well-known cryptocurrency, was created in 2009. Since then, more than 18 million bitcoins have been mined.

Cryptocurrencies are often traded on decentralized exchanges and can also be used to purchase goods and services.

Why Dubai?

Dubai is quickly becoming a leading market for cryptocurrency trading and investment. The UAE government has released cryptocurrency licenses to support the growing sector, and the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) has recently launched a Crypto Center to provide quality business services.
